Abstract

Website@School is a Website Content Management System (CMS), specially built for educational purposes. Its main features are:

• It is a tool for pupils to learn Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and its management skills in a secure and robust environment.
• It's also a fully equipped CMS to build perfect websites for institutions, welfare organizations, some companies and last but not least: schools!
• It's made for international collaboration; now translated in 20+ languages.
• Its management is completely accessible for blind- and visually impaired users.
• Freedom and independence: it's free, it uses OS (Open Standards), it is built as OSS (Open Source Software), licensed under a GPL (General Public License) and makes no use of frameworks.
• Comprehensive, fully illustrated documentation for end users. Extensive documentation for developers. Excellent documented code.
